For posts for traffic signs and for lighting, a braking instruction is arranged a little bit above the ground level. Here the post is separated and kept together by an interior- splicing insert which is attached by means of a pair of intermediate rubber cuffs. The insert consists of two sleeves which can be screwed together so that the rubber cuff expands in a radial direction. The insert will be weaker at the area of the splice. The device can be applied on inserted posts which are sawn off so that a piece is left after which a new post is mounted on this piece by means of this device. <IMAGE> |
