The invention relates to regulation of the fuel flow to aeroplane engines and solves the problem of providing a device which subsequently may be installed in existing aeroplanes and provide a fine regulating of the fuel flow, superimposed onto the coarse regulation given by the manoeuvring of the throttle control of the engines. According to the invention, a mechanism in inserted between the throttle control of each motor and its fuel dosage means, the active length of which between two points 50, 52 may be varied in dependence of input values of a number of parameters such as engine performance, outside air temperature and flight conditions. The device may be completed with a computer for regulating the flow of fuel on the basis of the result of a calculation of e.g. minimum fuel consumption, maximum flight distance, etc. <IMAGE> |
