PURPOSE:To improve versatility by providing an adapter with a tape drawing- out mechanism and by allowing this drawing-out mechanism to serve as a tape winding mechanism for a small-sized tape cassette when the small-sized cassette is drawn out of the adapter. CONSTITUTION:A smalll-sized cassette A is contained in an adapter C. Arms 102 and 108 are fitted rotatably to an adapter C, and the arms are fitted with ropes 106 and 108 opposite an operating lever 107. The operating lever 107 turns in a direction (a) to turn the arms 102 and 108, thereby forming a standard type tape path. When the operating lever 107 is turned in the opposite direction to the arrow (a) to detach the small-sized tape cassette from the adapter C, a take-up reel 23 turns by gear engagement from the operating lever 107, thereby eliminating a sag of a tape through the turning of the arms 102 and 103. |
