摘要 PURPOSE:To excellently cool all over the super-conductive wiring circuit of the subject rotor by a method wherein an auxiliary wall, consisted of the radial wall with a number of small holes, is provided in the liquid refrigerant reservoirs of the super-conductive rotor, and the liquid in the liquid refrigerant reservoir is maintained concentrically. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical partition 6 is provided in the rotor having a built- in super-conductive wiring circuit 1, helium is feeded in the rotor 2 from a feeding pipe 4 as a refrigerant, and the super-conductive wiring circuit 1 is cooled by sending liquefied helium 7 to the outside section and gaseous helium 8 to the inner side of the rotor utilizing the rotational centrifugal force. Also, on the inside of the partition 6, a radial wall 11 is arranged as an auxiliary wall, and a number of small holes 12 are provided on it in order to secure good circulation of the liquid. Accordingly, the liquefied helium 7 is dragged by the radial wall 11 due to viscosity, the liquefied helium is formed almost in one body and rotated along the outside of the partition 6, thereby enabling to give concentricity to the liquid surface when operated at a low speed and to obtain an excellent cooling effect.
