PURPOSE:To inhibit the execution caused by the loading of an improper microprogram, by carrying out an operation for both the discriminating information and the setting information to produce the effectiveness indicating information that indicates whether the loaded microprogram is effective or not. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic controller 2 is controlled by an indication given from a microprogram stord in a control storage device 1, and a desired arithmetic process, etc. is executed. When the device 1 gives an initial microprogram load request to an input/output file controller 3, the controller 3 controls an input/output file device 4 and reads the discriminating information which indicates the microprogram. On the other hand, an arithmetic circuit 5 gives an operation to the setting information corresponding to the above-mentioned discriminating information and stored in a setting information generating means 6 as well as to the discriminating information which is supplied via a data bus (b). Then the effectiveness indicating information that indicates whether the result of operation is effective or not is sent to the device 1. The circuit 5 produces an effectiveness indication signal when the result obtained through the operation of both the discrimiating information and the setting information has a prescribed relation. |
