PURPOSE:To obtain a bright display, by controlling an average tilt angle of rugged parts, and height and a period of the rugged parts, on the surface of a metallic electrode on a simiconductor substrate, and increasing the intensity of reflected rays in the direction for watching a panel by the electrode which serves as a passive reflector, too. CONSTITUTION:Each picture element metallic electrode surface 102 which a lower substrate of a panel has formed on an opaque semiconductor substrate 101 has a rugged shape formed by laminating a polysilicone layer 103 formed in the lower part of this electrode layer, on the rugged parts formed by means of etching. The picture element metallic electrode layer 102 has a double layer structure consisting of an Al-Si-Cu layer 12-2 and an Al layer 12-3. |
