PURPOSE:To simplify decision of leap years and calculation of the days of the week by storing the data on the leap years of a specified annual period and the days of the week of the first days of the respective months corresponding to the days of the week of January 1 of said years and controlling a CPU to execute a prescribed processing program. CONSTITUTION:The corresponding data on the leap years in the specified annual period (for example, 1904-2096) and the days of the week of the 1st day of January of said years as well as the data on the days of the week of the 1st days of the respective months corresponding to the days of the week of January 1st are stored into a memory and CPU is controlled to execute the 1st-5th processing programs. The date is added by one day at the time of the carry from 11 o'clock 59min PM to 0 o'clock 0min AM in the 1st processing. Whether corresponding year is the leap year or not is decided and the year of the nearest leap year is determined if this year is not the leap year in the 2nd processing. The day of the week of January 1 of the leap year is determined in the 3rd processing. The correction of month end in the result of the addition in the 1st processing is executed and the month and date of the corresponding year are determined, then the day of the week of the 1st day of the month is determined in the 4th processing. The day of the week of the corresponding date is determined in the 5th processing. |
