<p>PURPOSE:To obtain desired values of a sheet crown and a shape of sheet, by estimating a shape of sheet at the time that a set sheet crown based on a lateral flow factor is performed, and determining a desired shape of sheet by adding prescribed rolling conditions to said estimated shape of sheet, thereby controlling a sheet-shape modifying apparatus based on the desired crown and shape of sheet. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus is constituted of a device 1 for setting a desired sheet crown at the exit side of a rolling mill, a computor 2 for computing a lateral flow factor, a sheet-shape estimating computor 3 for estimating a shape of sheet at the time that a desired crown ratio is performed, a computor 4 for determining a desired shape of sheet from an estimated shape of sheet, a capability-range computor 5 for computing the upper and lower limits of sheet- shape by the rolling mill's ability, a computor 7 for computing the quantity of sheet-shape to be modified, a computor 8 for computing a modifying quantity of bending force, and provided. The group of sheet-shape modifying devices are controlled in a conventional way based on the desired shape of sheet determined by said devices.</p> |
