摘要 <p>Simplified pulse transformer with impulse excitation providing high repetition rates and short duration pulses of h.v. is connected to a charging loop of capacitor and features a commutator in its primary. The circuit has two stages one of which includes the prim. with the capacitor and commutator as well as the sec. of the transformer. The secondaries in all stages are series connected except in the last one and have two parallel and insulated-from-each-other conductors. In the first stage, one conductor is connected to the charging unit while the other one is earthed. The remaining stages have the parallel conductors shunted by the capacitors of the primaries. This ensures h.v. pulses repetition rate of 10 cubed Hz and with a pulse duration of 10 to the power of minus 7 sec., and is applied for electron beam accelerators. In the two-stage version, the charge of capacitors (5,7) is controlled by the single unit (II). The connection to capacitor (7) is formed by the bifilar conductor of the sec. (3). The switching is determined by commutators (6,8) based on hydrogen-filled thyratron of thyristors. The energy fed to the capacitor (7) can be used for heating the cathode of the commutator (8) and of other units in the second stage.</p>
