Thermoplastic film packs, sealed with metal foil, are automatically produced and filled under sterile conditions; the film passes through a sterilising medium, a heater, a moulding station, a filling point, sealing device, and is finally stamped out. After unreeling, the film is electrostatically discharged and freed from adhering impurities before moving on into the heater. Automatic sterilisation without using H2O2, suitable for liq. or paste foodstuffs and particularly dairy prods.
