<p>The water heating boiler has a water jacket round the face fed combustion chamber at the top of the boiler, the intermediate zone of ducting for the products of combustion and the lower chamber for the external control. The combustion chamber is formed from a horizontal cylinder with the burner, externally fixed to an insulated plate, and having its outlet at the entrance to the combustion chamber. Horizontal ducts carry hot gas above and below the combustion chamber, and are linked by vertical ducts. The complete combustion chamber and hot gas ducts are surrounded by the water to be heated, and the entire unit is surrounded by an insulation jacket.</p> |
