摘要 |
PURPOSE:To enable coiling while manufacturing continuously in manufacturing and coiling metal sheet by contacting molten metal with a rotary cooling body by stripping the sheet with a jet of high pressure gas and magnetically attracting to a drum. CONSTITUTION:Molten metal 3 is continuously jetted from the tip of a nozzle 2 to a metal roll 1 that rotates at a high peripheral speed of >=10m/sec and brought into contact with the surface of the metal roll 1. on contact, the molten metal is quenched and solidified to become a sheet 4 and carried in close contact with the rotation of the metal roll 1. The tip of the magnetic metal sheet 4 stripped by a jet of high pressure gas from a nozzle 5 is attracted on the surface of a coiling drum having permanent magnets buried on the surface and rotating in nearby place, and the coil becomes greater successively. By making the rotation axis of the coiling drum 6 more distant from the metal roll 1 with enlargement of coil, coiling of a large quantity of sheet becomes possible. |
