<p>The boiler consists of an insulated casing (1) with gas burner (11) at one end and a water tube heat exchanger (16) above the furnace. Primary air (f1) is supplied direct to the burner. Secondary air (f2) is first pre-heated then supplied to the burner through the ducts (27) around the periphery of the combustion chamber where further heating takes place. The secondary air/flue gas heat exchanger comprises a heat pipe coil (24) installed in the gas outlet chamber (25) and the air inlet duct (26). Condensate is drained from the gas outlet chamber by a drain pipe (21) to a collector (22).</p> |
