<p>The mould for the mfr. of precast concrete blocks (11) comprises a moulding press together with demountable curing boxes and palletising equipment. The boxes are movable and stackable and are built by assembling frames (13) of standard load-bearing casing panels (14a-c) between horizontal superimposed boards (12) or plates, and are of a height exceeding that of the product (11). The panels may have horizontally projecting bearing surfaces (15) at the head and foot, with ventilation holes and may have a thermo-insulating lining, or may be made entirely of thermo-insulating material. The plant may use a table to receive single boards or aligned adjacent boards upon which the freshly cast products are placed, stacks being handled by a gantry crane.</p> |
