The racquet for ball games, partic. tennis, has a handle and a frame (12) whose end branches join the handle via a curved piece. The frame has an outer cover (35) and an inner partition (36), the space between being filled with a material (37) that can absorb vibrations, such as a synthetic resin. The internal space, inside the inner partition, is filled with a light material, such as a light wood e.g. balsa, or an expanded material e.g. polyurethane. The cover and partition are made in a ductile material.
