PURPOSE:To exchange a developer always with fresh one and perform good developing by dislodging the developer on a sleeve by means of a dislodging device and conveying the same in the direction going farther from the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic developer 12 of two kinds of coloring particles is contained in a hopper 11. A scraper plate 14 and a developer dislodging means consisting of a permanent magnet 8 of reversed polarity on the side opposite from a main magnet 5 are provided to a rotary sleeve 4 of a developing roller 3. A conveying member 15 consisting of a sleeve 16 and a rotary magnet roller 17 is provided. With this constitution, the residual developer of the sleeve 4 is scraped by the plate 14, is dislodged magnetically by the repulsive magnetic force of the magnet 8, is conveyed in the direction going farther from the roller 4 by means of the conveying member 15 and is mixed with the developer in the hopper 11. Thereby, the developer is exchanged always with the fresh one, whereby thorough agitation is accomplished and good developing is carried out. |
