<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material with superior color reproducibility, image sharpness, image graininess and shelf stability by adding a specified compound releasing a development inhibitor by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent to a hydrophilic colloidal layer. CONSTITUTION:To a hydrophilic colloidal layer is added a compound releasing a development inhibitor by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent. The compound is represented by formulaI(where A is a coupler residue forming a dye by coupling reaction or an org. residue forming no dye, and R1 is optionally substituted 1-5C alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl or a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic residue), and it includes the compounds of formulas II, III. Thus, a color photographic sensitive silver halide material with superior color reproducibility, image sharpness, image graininess and superior long-term shelf stability is obtd.</p> |
