PURPOSE:To obtain a 1-component system developer for pressure fixing undergoing no reduction in the fluidity and causing no bridging phenomenon in a hopper even in long-term use by adding a dispersant (silica) to dispersant-stuck coloring particles. CONSTITUTION:About 0.2-1% silica is first added to toner particles contg. polyethylene and mgnetite as principal components, and they are mixed well to stick all of the added silica to the surfaces of the toner particles. About 0.1-2% silica is then added and allowed to coexist with the toner particles without carrying out agitation practically so as to prevent the silica from sticking to the particles. Thus, a developer for electrophotography is obtd. |
