PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate of good dimensional accuracy, etc. and well suited for use in making electronic parts by bringing the pattern surface formed of a photosensitive resin on a stainless steel plate into tight contact with the surface of a stainless steel screen extended by a specific method and exerting pressure thereby Ni plating the same. CONSTITUTION:A photosetting resin 2 is uniformly coated on the clean surface of a stainless steel plate 1, and a film 3 having a pattern is brought into tight contact therewith, thence UV light is irradiated thereto and the resin is developed, whereby the pattern 2' of the resin layer is formed on the plate 1. On the other hand, a ''Tetoron#'' screen 5 is extended to an extension frame 4, and a stainless steel screen 6 coated with a thermosetting adhesive 7 on the circumerence is adhered to the central part thereof. The screen 5 of that part is removed and the screen 6 is degreased and cleaned. Thence, the resin pattern 2 surface of the plate 1 is brought in tight contact with the screen 6 and pressure is exerted thereto to apply Ni plating while the elongation by the pressure application is absorbed in the screen 5. If the film 3 pattern is made positive, the negative pattern thereof is formed on the screen 6. The resultant printing plate has good print resisting power, reproducibility of patterns, and dimensional accuracy. |
