PURPOSE:To simplify the input operation, by arranging characters in the order of usage frequency dividing them into some groups, and using switches designating the groups and keys corresponding to characters. CONSTITUTION:Keys corresponding to characters respectively are arranged on a keyboard 10 in the order of usage frequency. The keyboard is divided into an integer and into the 1st key array 12 and the 2nd key array 14. The characters arranged on a key array 12 has higher usage frequency than the characters arranged with the key array arramgement 14. Thus, since the desired key input can be made only with the key array 12 normally, the selection of keys is made simple. Further, keys of the key array 12 and key array 14 are connected in parallel and the selection of the key array can be made with another switch, allowing to reduce the number of wirings. |
