PURPOSE:To provide a dot printer head easy to assemble which allows continual retaining of a needle adapted to slide in the direction of separating from a platen on a second needle guide located at the position of retraction. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet 17 is mounted on a yoke 16 and a stopper 21 is provided on a magnet block B to hold an armature 19. A plurality of needle guide 4 is mounted on a needle block A in such a manner as to align and retain a plurality of needles 12 slidably on a guide holder 1 connected to the yoke 16 with one end thereof connected to the armature 19 being charged in the direction of separating from a platen. A cap 13 is fixed at the rear end of each needle 12 and engaged therewith, a needle spring 14 for charging the needle 12 in the direction of separating from the platen is fixed on a supporting section 15 rising from a mounting surface 2. The second needle guide 5 perform a guiding between the position of approaching the needle guide 4 and that of retracting therefrom. |
