PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate printing head lever at a high efficiency by having a plate-shaped blank receiving two special bending processes and one spot welding process. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped blank 2 is set on a pilot pin 9 and then, with a press holding pin 19 lowered, it is subjected to the first bending process while sandwitched between a recoiler 11 and a bending punch 12. After a holding pin 19 is lifted, the equipment is shifted by 90 deg. and both bending punches 12 and 13 are lowered with the holding pin 19. Thereupon, a V-groove 10 on the recoiler 11 and the bending punch 13 combine to bend work 3 like U at the center, completing the second process. As with the further lowering of the bending punch 13, the recoiler 11 engages a die base 8, it tightens a lock screw 16, keeping the work 4 bend like U as it is. Under such a condition, an electrode 6 of a spot welding is inserted into an electrode guide push 7 provided on the die base 8. Upon the energization with the bending punch 13 as a core electrode, the work 4 is spot welded at each one point on the right and left sides thereof simultaneously to obtain a finished product 5. |
