PURPOSE:To remove foreign matter quickly and easily and improve working performance by providing a cleaning member for removing foreign matter in an earing regulating part between the earing regulating part and a developer conveying sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning member 20 is made of a thin plate member, and its front end extends up to the upper part of an earing regulating plate 16. The rear end extends from the groove 11b provided on the side wall of a developing vessel 11 to the outside and is mounted with a knob 21. The member 20 is supported and guided slidably at its central part by a steel wire 22 extended in the longitudinal direction of a sleeve 12 in the vessel 11. This member 20 is placed in the position at one axial direction end of the sleeve 11 while not in use to avoid giving influence upon conveyance of the developer. Thereby, foreign matter is easily removed by operating the cleaning member from the outside. |
