Electrical cable connector, and a method for its production

A cable connector is specified for electronic installations (systems) in a container, which cable connector is hermetically sealed in order to prevent the ingress of moisture, a gas being pumped into the free space between the cable harness (loom) and the lead (cable, line) sleeve surrounding it. The cable connector has a valve (V) which is installed in a cavity body (HK), a part of the valve and especially its opening being surrounded by a porous filling (J1), the other part being covered by a dense filling (J2) which wets the inner edge surface of the cavity body (HK) all round and out of which the other opening of the valve (V) and its control element project. In consequence, individual installations can be left stationary for a relatively long time without the other installations at the same time having to be without a gas overpressure. <IMAGE>
