The invention relates to a sheet guiding device in sheet guide cylinders of perfecting machines which operate on the principle of trailing edge turning. The object of the invention is to provide a sheet guiding device, with which the sheet can be conveyed in face printing and in perfecting without smearing or depositing, and which guarantees that, in face printing, no jolting loads occur on the sheet when it is received from the printing cylinder, in which case the sheet guiding device can be arranged on the sheet guide cylinder with little outlay. This object is achieved in that the guide plate of the sheet guiding device, extending over the width of the sheet guide cylinder, is automatically adjustable and is arranged fixedly on the output link of a cam drive in the operating position.
