摘要 <p>The semiconductor laser regulation system uses an input signal (E) comprising a pulse train with varying pulse spacing. This is fed to an amplifier (V1) with a variable amplification factor controlled in dependence on the difference between the peak Value of an electrical signal obtained from the optical output signal and a reference value (S1). The regulation of the laser output via a momentary input pulse sequence is effected using stored peak values obtained from the output provided in response to the prior pulse sequence. Pref. a photodiode (FD) supplies an output representing the semiconductor laser optical output, fed via a peak value rectifier (SG) to a store (SP). This is coupled to one input of a difference amplifier (V2) also receiving the reference value (S1). The circuit may also include a current regulation loop (VR). The regulation circuit has a rapid response rate.</p>
