PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium which has superior wear resistance and durability by providing an organic silicon compound which contains specific F on the magnetic-layer side surface. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic paint obtained by containing a 0.1-10wt% compound, shown by the formula (1), in magnetic powder is layered on the surface of a plastic film, etc., thus obtaning a mgnetic recording medium. The said fluorine- containing organic compound bleeds the layer to the surface, so a coefficient of friction decreases greatly, so that a manetic tape with wear resistance is obtained without spoiling other characteristics. |
