The arrangement is intended for bridging the gap between the front of a building and a container placed in front of a door opening for loading or unloading. A flap is swivelable about a horizontal pivot from a vertical position against the wall into a horizontal position in which its end extends to above the container roof. The flap may carry a flexible skirt at its end to close the gap between flap and container roof. It may be lowered and raised by means of a cable winch, and its pivot may be covered by a flexible seal.
