<p>A wetted textile fabric is dried by passing the fabric 1 through a stenter in which it is subjected to superheated steam at about 150 DEG C generated by evaporation of moisture in the fabric. Air is heated by radiators 6, 7 and circulated by fans 2, 3 through truncated tunnels 4.2, 5.2 to linear venturi openings 10 with a channel 11, Fig. 9, therebetween and parallel guide slats 12. <IMAGE></p> |
