<p>PURPOSE:To use caking general-purpose coal as the reducing agent of sulfur oxides for the recovery of sulfur in the dry stack-gas desulfurization, by mixing the coal with coke at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Gas containing SO2 in high concentration is introduced from the gas duct 1 into the reactor 2, made to contact with the reducing agent, converted to sulfur vapor, and sent to the condenser through the duct 3. The reducing agent is made of a maxture of coke and general-purpose coal wherein the content of coke is 10-90wt%. The reduction proceeds faster at low temperature than the reduction with coke. The reducing agent is charged through the line 4 to the hopper 5, mixed with the reclaimed reducing agent obtained by separating the fine particles of the used reducing agent discharged from the reactor 2, and sent to the reactor 2. The fine particles of the reducing agent separated by the sieve 7 are discharged through the line 8.</p> |
