The invention relates to a resilient rail fastening on concrete sleepers. Arranged on each side of the rail foot is in each case one guide plate. A spring clip has two outer legs and two inner legs, in each case one outer leg being connected to its adjacent inner leg by a bend (facing away from the rail foot). The two inner legs end freely (towards the rail foot). The two ends of the outer legs on the rail-foot side are interconnected in a region resting on the rail foot. A sleeper screw extends through a hole in the guide plate and between the two inner legs of the spring clip. In order to relieve the sleeper screw of shear forces and to provide a safeguard against rotation for the spring clip, the guide plate (16) is supported with its side surface (30) facing away from the rail foot (18) on a bearing surface (32) of the concrete sleeper and provided close to this side surface (30) with an abutment (14) facing and running parallel to the rail foot (18), the two downwardly curved bends (10, 12) bearing against the abutment (14). <IMAGE>
