The invention concerns disposable plastic cutlery set, which as a result of a configuration of the 4 implements normally making up a cutlery set by means of a connection piece 13 are connected until shortly before use, in that the user simply breaks the implements off from each other, which is easy to do because of a recess 16 between the transition piece 12 and the connection piece 13. The disposable cutlery set are produced with a view to providing a cleaner set of cutlery set than are known at present. The sorting after production, necessary thus far, is eliminated. The production can now be fully automatic, both injection moulding and packing, since the packing is done in certain specially designed paper or plastic containers which likewise serve as a shipping package and after being received are easily placed in a cartridge which is in turn placed in a dispenser, so the cutlery set are untouched by human hands, which is quite clearly a tremendous advantage in terms of hygiene, since we use the implements to eat food. The special configuration likewise makes it possible that the cutlery set, packed in paper or plastic containers, do not take up too much room, it is easier to keep the cutlery set in storage, for example aboard an aeroplane, and one does not need to have several different types in stock, since the cutlery set always contains what is necessary. The special configuration makes it possible, through automation, to produce a disposable plastic cutlery set around 45 per cent cheaper than is known thus far. <IMAGE>
