Thiocarbamate ester(s) for treatment of fungal skin infections - prepd. e.g. by treating aniline deriv. with thiocarbonic acid ester

Thiocarbamate esters of formula (I) are new. R1 is H, Me, hydroxymethyl, MeO, OH, MeS, F, Cl, Br, CF3, and is pref. in 3-posn; R2 is H, Me, F, Cl and is pref. in 4- or 5-posn.; R3 is Me or Et; R4 is quinoline, isoquinoline, benzothiophene, benzothiazole attached via the benzene ring to the O atom. (I) can be used to treat fungal skin infections. (I) are esp. effective against e.g. Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporon canis, Aspergillus niger. (I) are more effective than tolnaftat.
