<p>The circuit board (1) on which a number of components (2,3) are mounted, has a potentiometer (4) whose setting is to be changed by external devices. This is done by means of an internal shaft (7) which connects to the potentiometer (4). A spring (8) and a disc (9) are positioned on the shaft between circuit board (1) and housing (5) so that the disc (9) lies directly beneath the board. The adjusting body (6), is thus positioned with a pre-set tension to the inner side of the housing, its attachment (10) fitting into a cut out (11) in the housing (5). This cut-out (11) has a stepped region with two different diameters (12,13) in order to keep the adjuster (6) captive in the housing. Mounted in this way, the potentiometer (4) can be altered externally, dust being prevented from entering the housing.</p> |
