Case frame and wing, casement, or sash frame, including glazing for the latter, are produced by a process involving centering of both frames. With the centering maintained, the leaf frame is moved out from the case frame into a different plane. Then adjacent surfaces of the two frames are machined, and the respective fittings are mounted. The two frames are then aligned in the centred position in a common plane and assembled. The clamps for the wing frame may be loosened and moved out of its plane for glazing.
