PURPOSE:To easily maintain the accuracy and to easily execute the maintenance, by detecting the extent of movement of a moving apron of a press brake, so that the follow-up operation of a follow-up arm can correspond to bent depth of a work. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted of a detecting mechanism 21 for detecting the extent of movement of a moving apron 17 of a press brake 1, a follow-up arm 23 for following up and supporting a work to be bent, and a driving mechanism 25. Said mechanism 25 drives the arm by the extent of follow-up having a prescribed ratio in accordance with the extent of movement of the moving apron 17 from a work bending start point detected by the mechanism 21. In this way, the follow-up operatin of the follow-up arm 23 is made to correspond to bent depth of the work. |
