<p>PURPOSE:To use a model case of a wooden pattern without requiring a clamp device of the model case, by setting a cavity part in the model case to negative pressure, absorbing foundry sand, and filling the cavity part with said sand, in case the foundry sand is supplied. CONSTITUTION:When a vacuum pump communicated and connected with a suction pipe 12 is operated, a cavity part 6a of a model case 6 is set to negative pressure through the suction pipe 12, a pressure reducing chamber 2 and an air vent 3, and a film sheet 7 is adsorbed by the outside surface of the model case 6. Subsequently, when a stop valve 10 is opened, foundry sand 13 stored in a hopper 11 is absorbed by the cavity part 6a through a connecting pipe 9 and said cavity part is filled with the foundry sand 13. After that, said state is left as it is and is hardened for a prescribed time, and a self-hardening core is taken out from the model case 6, by which the molding is completed.</p> |
