Compounds of the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 is chlorine, bromine or iodine, R2 is hydrogen or halogen, and R3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or hydroxy-lower alkyl, or when R3 is hydrogen, an alkali metal salt thereof; the compounds and their salts are useful as anxiolytics, anticonvulsives and sedatives.
