PURPOSE:To make receiving and delivering motions of spiral coils easy and sure by looping rolled wire rods to spiral coils with a loop former, and setting the coil discharge angles from the loop former approximately equal to the conveying angles of the spiral coils. CONSTITUTION:Finish rolled wire rods 11 are supplied via a water cooler 12 and pinch rollers 13 to a loop former 14, by which they are looped to spiral coils 15 of prescribed diameters and are discharged successively from discharge side at a discharge angle beta. On the other hand, bed and side conveyors 16, 18 are so constituted as to convey the coils 15 in forward inclined position at an angle alpha, and the angles alpha and beta are set approximately equal. Then, the bed and side conveyors 16, 18 are simply required to catch the coils 15 by means of paws 17, 19 in the state of inclining by the angle alpha. The coils 15 are subjected to controlled cooling by the refrigerant supplied from a blower 20 during conveying and are integrated in a stacker 22 by a conveyor 21. |
