PURPOSE:To enable effective use and to save of line utilizing charge, by adding a plurality of copy indication signal, in a low cost facsimile device providing a small capacity of data storage device. CONSTITUTION:A control signal MCIS indicating a plurality of copies is added to the head of a video information data corresponding to one page of a transmission original for transmission. At the reception side, in an MCIS copy number detection section 1, an MCIS signal is detected out of communication data to discriminate one or two sheets or more. If the number of copies is two or more, a signal S1 is outputted to start a data storage device 5 for storage operation. The data storage device 5 stores the communication data of the page from a telephone line L1 with this signal S1. After the end of communication, the copy for rest sheets of indicated page can be formed. |
