PURPOSE:To enable to quickly select the indicated position without having a feedback by a method wherein a coil is constituted by a plurality of coils, and the direction of current application for the plurality of coils is selectively controlled. CONSTITUTION:The digital linear motor is consisted of a frame 1 (magnetic circuit) and permanent magnet 2A and 2B, which are arranged at the position opposing each other making a pair, and a plurality of coil rows 3 (actuator) independently provided in between the permanent magnets 2A and 2B. The shifting to the indicated position can be performed by selectively controlling the direction of current application to the plurality of coil rows 3. |
