The invention relates to a coupling between an inner pipe and an outer pipe concentric to the latter, comprising a body arranged between the mutually facing circumferential surfaces of the two pipes and consisting of rubber or a similar flexible material. According to the present invention, the flexible body is permanently connected to the circumferential surface of the inner pipe by vulcanisation or the like, while it engages by means of tongues and/or grooves in corresponding grooves and/or tongues on the circumferential surface of the outer pipe, and the flexible body is thicker in the unloaded condition than the difference between the inner radius of the outer pipe and the outer radius of the inner pipe, with the result that, in the coupling position, it is compressed between the two pipes. In addition, the flexible body has a conical taper at at least one end on the outside provided with the tongues and/or grooves. |
