PURPOSE:To make position adjustment of an original easy and sure and improve workability by providing a monitoring part which monitors the state of the copying surface of the original from the outside of a body in the final end part of an optical path. CONSTITUTION:A moving element 28 is provided below an original platen 2 in a body 1 of a copying machine, and a lamp 30 for monitoring and a convex mirror 31 constituting an optical system 29 are provided on one end side of the element 28. A stationary reflecting mirror 32 is provided on the other end side thereof. An optical path A such as the one shown by an arrow is formed by the mirror 31 and the mirror 32. A peep glass 33 as an inspecting part is provided on the side adjacent to the platen 2 in the top surface part of the body 1, and this glass 33 is located in the final end part of the optical path A. Scales 34, 35 indicating a copiable range are displayed on the surface of the glass 33. |
