The joint between a push arm 2 and a track frame 5 of a bull-doser comprises a ball 10 attached by a throat 7, a plate 8 and bolts 11 to the frame, two hardened steel bearing cups 12 and 13 fitted together around the ball and a two part bearing housing 6, one part being formed in the end of the push arm 2 and the other part being attached thereto by bolts 24 and 25. A plate cover 20, fitted into grooves 21 and the cups 12 and 13, and a rubber ring 18 with a coacting oil ring expander 19 retain the lubricant supplied by a lubricator (30, Fig. 4). A positioning stud (28, Fig. 4) is arranged in the push arm so that the parting line between the cups 12 and 13 is at 45‹ to the parting line between the push arm 2 and the member 6. |
