PURPOSE:To obtain a power supply circuit which can supply the stabilized DC voltage to the load with high efficiency of electric power regardless of the length of a transmission line, by installing a switching regulator plus a specific series regulator. CONSTITUTION:An input DC voltage VIN is supplied to a switching regulator 11; and a series regulator 12 receives the supply of the DC voltage VSW from the regulator 11 and delivers the output DC voltage VS. The voltage VS is supplied to the load 3 via transmission lines 6 and 7, and detection voltages S+ and S- related to the load voltage VR of the load 3 are supplied to the regulator 12. At the same time, the voltage related to the voltage VS is supplied to the regulator 11 as the reference voltage. For instance, a power supply circuit is constituted as shown in the diagram for a camera control unit 2 which is connected to a camera head unit 1 of a TV camera system. |
