PURPOSE:To provide a thermochromic material having excellent fastness to daylight, by blending a compd. having nitrogen, phosphorus, oxygen and/or sulfur- contg. cationic radical group and an arom. ring. CONSTITUTION:One pt. electron-donating color-developing org. compd. (A) such as Crystal Violet Lactone, 0.1-10pts. compd. having a phenolic hydroxyl group such as phenol and/or compd. having a carboxyl group such as acetic acid (B), 1-100pts. solvent (C) such as an alcohol or an ester e.g. n-octyl alcohol or octyl acetate, and 0.01-5pts. compd. (D) having a nitrogen, phosphorus, oxygen and/or sulfur-contg. cationic radical group such as tris (p-diethylaminophenyl) aluminum perchlorate or tris (p-dimethylaminophenyl)-phosphinium perchlorate, are mixed together. |
