PURPOSE:To obtain multifarious function in such a way that in a heater equipped with a radiator and a regenerative water reservoir, opening and closing operations of cooling water circulating water paths in series and in parallel are changed over in response to connection and disconnection of cooling water temperature, water reservoir water temperature, outer air temperature and heating switches. CONSTITUTION:With provision of a water path for a calefactory radiator 4 and a regenerative water reservoir 8 in series, a water path for the radiator 4 only, and a water path for the regenerative water reservoir 8 only, opening and closing operations are done by means of a solenoid valve 9 and a dual solenoid valve 10 equipped with a first valve 11 and a second valve 12. For example, right after start-up in the winter season, the radiator 4 and the regenerative water reservoir 8 are connected in series, and after completing warm-up, the radiator 4a and the regenerative water reservoir 8 are respectively connected in parallel. Besides, when calefaction is in no need as in spring and fall, the water reservoir 8 only is connected, and if in summer cooling water temperature is in its normal state, and it is lower than the water temperature in the water reservoir 8, the water reservoir 8 is connected, but when it is higher, it is not connected. In addition, when it is overheated, the regenerative water reservoir 8 only is connected thereto. |
