PURPOSE:The titled apparatus, containing yarn breakage sensor of the electronic tube type provided at the respective spindles, parallel input terminals of a shift register connected with the output contacts of the sensors, and serial data output terminals of the shift register connected with the central totalizing apparatus, and easily handled with little trouble. CONSTITUTION:If any one of the yarns (3a)-(3n) is broken, logical value outputs are generated in the respective outputs of yarn sensors (5a)-(5n), applied to and memorized respectively in parallel input terminals (7a)-(7n) of a shift register 6 constituted of a J-K flip-flop, etc. Yarn breakage signals are transmitted through serial output terminals of the shift register 6 to a central totalizing apparatus 8 by scanning signals applied to clock terminals (C) and set terminals (S) of the shift register 6. |
