DRAFTING METHOD IN DRAFTING APPARATUS OF SPINNING FRAME

PURPOSE:To improve the life of aprons further, by traversing one of the aprons mounted on middle rollers at such a speed as not to influence the progress of a sliver to be drafted. CONSTITUTION:The bottom apron (3b) is held by a guide plate 10 traversing connectedly with a traversing rod 9 at a given period in passing a sliver (S) through the top apron (3a) and the bottom apron (3b). The supplied sliver (S) is brought into cntact with the overall traverse (width) of the bottom apron (3b) to reduce the abrasion of the contact surface of the aprons.
