The gun is used to apply thermo-fusible adhesive (6), its fusion chambers (3) being capable of detachment during normal service conditions. The arrangement permits the interchange of chambers appropriate to different adhesives, and each chamber may be heated by a heat-source (2) contained within the body (1) of the gun. The chambers may be conical and be held in position by the counteractive effects of the heat source and the pressure of the adhesive.
